We call this Etruscan style tanning because the process dates back to the Etruscan period in Tuscany. Each Parma skin is carefully selected - only soft shoulder sections qualify because this leather is supple, soft, and has the least amount of natural blemishes. Parma leather looks better with age - each bag takes on a unique look and darkens like a saddle over time. Parma is leather tanning the natural way. Made in Italy.
